Photography in motion

I love to add motion blur to photos. It can completely change  what you were looking at and give a creative and unique perspective on a subject.

It can be created by simply putting a slower shutter speed on your camera. Sometimes I move with the subject and sometimes I have the camera still. I have used tripod in the past but also a lot is done by just holding the the camera. Ultimately for me, as always, it’s just about playing about with the settings till I get something I like.

Below are a collection of some of my favourite motion blur photos I have created over the years. Locations include: Vietnam, Bondi, Paris, Fiji and Brighton.
